Contestants present a thirty-second elevator pitch to three separate groups of local industry talent. Scoring determines the top four that will advance to Round Two. Conference attendees have the opportunity to vote one additional project into the finals. Finalists will be announced at Saturday night’s networking event and via email and social media.
Round Two – Sunday @ 12pm
Contestants have eight minutes with a panel of industry professionals. Pitch your project in three to four minutes to allow time for discussion. Winner will be determined by the panel’s selection. Prizes include cash and memberships. More details to come.
Cost: $20 ($10 for NwSG members) as an add-on to SFS weekend badge.
30 slots available. Pitch order will be determined via signup sheet on Saturday. Pitch order for Sunday will be random.
Registration will close when the slots are filled.
*Pitches will be filmed. Contestants must sign a waiver prior to pitching. Younger contestants will require guardian’s signature.

The Seattle Film Summit is a 2-day-long series of interactive, educational panels and workshops focused on connecting our local industry to L.A., New York and the world.
Serving digital creatives in the Pacific Northwest and beyond, the Seattle Film Summit is the only workforce development opportunity like it in the PNW. Writers, directors, producers and actors have the opportunity to meet distributors, acquisition executives, talent agents, attorneys, festival directors and others who provide services to the motion picture industry – to learn from and connect with them.
Here’s what to expect at the Seattle Film Summit:
Pitch sessions – Pitch your content to distributors, sales agents, marketing companies and respected industry pros. Space is limited.
Distribution meetings – Schedule 1:1 private meetings with distributor and producer reps (for completed or near-completed projects).
Educational series – Participate in extensive education for filmmakers and actors.
Networking opportunities – Build relationships with people doing what you want to do in the industry.
Entertainment industry vendor expo – Meet the production houses, sound companies, distributors, acting coaches and other filmmaking experts in our PNW industry.
